The most notable of these unfortunate teams are last seasons champions Chelsea.
Chelsea convincingly finished first last season after putting on brilliant performances one after the other. If they continue playing as they currently are then they will probably be the first in the league again but from the other end of the table. The team seems like they are being forced to play. They have no morale and drive. Begovic, Willian, Azpillicueta, Ramires, Zouma Pedro and Cahill are the only regular players that seem to be making an effort. Kennedy and Loftus Cheek are also doing well but don't get that much playing time. Ivanovic is just as useful as the corner flag when it comes to defending and that is why Chelsea fans celebrated as if Chelsea has won the champions league on hearing that he was injured on international duty. Unfortunately Matic was also injured in the same match .Mourinho does not seem to have a clue of what he is doing, the substitution in which he put in Matic and later took him out in the same much just summed up his confusion and panic. Chelsea are in desperate need of prayer as it seems that is the only thing that will help.
Sunderland and Newcastle who haven't managed a win this season yet. Sunderland have already appointed a new manager Sam Allardyce who is not a stranger to the Epl having managed west ham previously.

On the other hand some teams have really stepped up this season and are showing little chance of backing down these teams are namely Leicester, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Leicester are showing that they are can be a high quality team even though they just came into the premier league last season. Jamie Vardy has shown his credentials and class by already pitting in 7 goals in 8 games and doesn't seem like cooling down. The comeback kings may just surprise us this season.

West Ham are also showing their quality although the same happened last season as they were on the top part of the table for quite some time but they faded away into their more usual position.
Crystal palace have always been a very strong team but have never really had that extra spark to challenge for the title but there is a first time for everything.

Speaking about teams that have never had that extra something Arsenal recently pulled a surprise win over Manchester United and as usual their fans are riled up talking about the hope for winning the season. I personally think if they play the way they did in the first 20 minutes then they can finish second or a strong third if they don't pick up injuries.

Liverpool have had a decent season according to me but it seems that the owners of the club want better than descent. That is the reason they have sacked Brendan Rodgers and upgraded to the former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp who seems to have an exciting aspect to add on the Epl.

Manchester city is looking like the team we saw in 2014 although it does have something to do with the enormous quality that they bought in the club. Namely one particular signing Kevin De Bruyne has shown that he is a worthy signing by already starting to stack up assists and goals. Kun Aguero seems to have woken up from his goal slumber as he recently put 5 past Krul as Man city added to the tears of Newcastle although he has been injured and is set to miss playing for one month. Silva is also sidelined by injury but if they play their cards right I do not see this running away from them.

All these reviews may change in my next review but until then we will just have to sit down and enjoy as the adventure that is the English Premier League unfolds.
